One of the things that really irritates me is the fact that some people are so negative towards him. They are so relentless in their pursuit; they do not hesitate to backlash at him at any point, at any of his statements or at any of his tweets. I suggest that such people get back to their lives/work which I seriously doubt they have!
Every time I witness some random douche expressing his/her “not so needed” viewpoint to him, I seriously wish they could see through cyber space one particular beautiful finger that I am holding up for them . Get a frigging life douche-bags!
Let’s see you people do something for the country or even get to that level that Sreesanth has attained today. Your random commentaries on improving Sreesanth’s cricket/life is really not required, Grow up!
Unfotunately living up to the collectivist ideal that the Indian society adheres to, Cricket is a 'religion' which urges fellow Indians to voice out the opinions on the entire dogma, everyone wants to be on the bandwagon that connects all Indians across stratas, thus we have random people on verbal diarrhea mode who ideally sip tea around a blinky tv and solicite what they claim as valued opinions. Poor Sreesanth is a victim of such perjury.
For those who call Sreesanth aggressive, I being a post-graduate in Psychology can quote studies that tiny hint of aggression in sports lets to better arousal and indeed better performance,so take that critics!
India Today writes on critics who lashed out on choosing Sreesanth for the finals and I quote “Just because anyone now is capable of purchasing a Blackberry phone/iphone with an internet connection, he/she has become a self-proclaimed expert on cricket!”(So true, it’s like a virtual slap to those shameless and relentless!)
Gary Kirsten admits to India Today on the choice of Sreesanth in The ICC World Cup Final: “Dhoni made the right call, he bet on the right horse.”
I must also applaud Sreesanth on his bravado in face of criticism; it is truly the mark of a true and genuine sportsman. He is tranquil in face of such critics against him. I really and deeply admire him for that. He does not lash out at anyone and silence actually is the high-road. A heartfelt salute to him!
Everyone sees hard times, A few years back people were against Sachin for not performing well; now look at the status he has attained for himself!
It is not necessary for the Sun to keep shining the entire length of the day, darkness does set in, but then at the dawn of every morning you can see the tinge of the it’s glory spreading to beckon in new hopes and desires.
